Auto Extravaganza
Statehouse Convention Center

Presented By O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Big names in classic car creations are coming to the 4th Annual Auto Extravaganza, January 8-10, 2010.  This car show is an indoor cavalcade of everything automotive.  “The Cars are the Stars” continues to be the tag line for the 2010 show and rightfully so.

“We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to display some of the most magnificent national award-wining vehicles again for the 2010 show including Don Smith’s Green 32 Sedan, Hot Rod of the Year Finalist,” says Carol Dolan, event chair.  “The 2010 marquee vehicles that will be on display is just as impressive, if not better, than the 2009 schedule.  Also joining the impressive line-up is George Poteet’s 1969 Plymouth Cuda called Gold Blowfish built by Rad Rides by Troy!  George’s Cuda is record-holding at the Bonneville Salt Flats in the Blown Fuel Comp Coupe C Class.  Additionally, George Barris joins the celebrity line-up along with the original 1966 Batmobile that he designed and built for the 1960’s television show.  I believe this will be very popular for everyone, as well as the Barris’ Batmobile souvenir display case.”

The 2010 Awards and Cash Prizes have taken an explosive new twist with The Trick 6 Awards and Top of the Rock:  The new award called Top of the Rock, which is our best of show, will received a $5,000 cash prize.

Charley Hutton, tagged as one of the most Famed Custom Street Rod Painter in America has just confirmed his attendance and agreed to select and present Best Paint during Sunday’s award ceremony!

“This is just the icing on the cake as we continue to enhance our January 2010 show,” says Dolan.  “We are honored to have Charley join us, and we know he will be very popular with all car enthusiasts especially those who are actually competing in the show.”  The Best Paint award will receive a cash prize of $1,000.

New for the 2010 show is a “Panel Jam.”  The artists include Paul Quinn, Design Brilliance, Jeremy Seanor, Howie Nisgor, Brian Papa, Matt Burfield and Zeke Lemanski.

Live entertainment includes Little Rock’s own Southern Rock Band, CRISIS, as well as Tony Witt-A Tribute to Elvis.

Friday, January 8: 4 pm - 9 pm
Saturday, January 9: 9 am - 9 pm
Sunday, January 10: 10 am - 4 pm

Spectator admission is $8 in advance at O'Reilly Auto Parts stores starting Dec. 14. 6 and under are free.  Admission is $10 at the door.
