"Exotic Lands--Europe Imagines Egypt and the East" - Exhibit

Arkansas Arts Center
Exotic Lands explore a fascination for scenes from the Middle East and Northern Africa, known as Orientalism. The urge to record scenes of the Near East enthralled artists as early as the 16th century. Works by Paul Cezanne, Eugene Delacroix and Paul Signac will be featured in this exhibition.
