Little Rock Hotel Ranked in Top 5 Worldwide Within Brand

After only 8 months of service since its renovations, Crowne Plaza Little Rock is setting high standards in the hotel industry, being ranked number 5 out of 164 Crowne Plazas Worldwide for their exceptional meeting facilities and services. Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts are dedicated to providing an excellent meeting planner experience at all of their hotel properties; their mantra is “The Place to Meet,” and the Crowne Plaza Little Rock is living up to the call!

The rankings are determined by meeting planners submittal of detailed surveys grading the hotels on more than 50 items including Overall Satisfaction, Experience with Sales & Catering, Quality of the Meeting Space, Quality and Presentation of Food and Beverage and many more.  The hotels are ranked based on the meeting planner’s answers and compared to other Crowne Plaza properties worldwide.

“Our goal is to make Crowne Plaza Little Rock the perfect place to host a corporate meeting, dinner or reception,” stated Jim Faulkner, General Manager.  “We are very proud of the high ranking we have received and will continue to strive for excellence to make our hotel a shining jewel, not only for the Crowne Plaza brand but for the city of Little Rock as well.”

During their recent $12 million renovation, Crowne Plaza Little Rock added five new meeting rooms for a total of 11 meeting rooms ranging from intimate meeting rooms to a grand ballroom.  These rooms have state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment with LCD TVs that can be used with computers and video monitors.

“We upgraded every facet of the facility from decor to technology making the new Crowne Plaza truly one of Little Rock’s most exceptional lodging facilities,” says Faulkner. “With our new contemporary look and excellent service, we encourage everyone, whether you are planning a small local meeting, a big national convention or something in-between, to take a look at our new facilities.”

Crowne Plaza was recently recognized by Lodging Hospitality magazine as one of the industry's top growing brands. As part of the InterContinental Hotel Group’s global portfolio, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts has nearly 300 hotels in 52 countries, and are located in major urban centers, gateway cities and resort destinations.
