Celebrate your special occasions at these Little Rock restaurants
Special occasions call for special dining experiences. Whether it’s an anniversary, engagement, a birthday, promotion or graduation, Little Rock has some pretty spectacular places to mark those important times in your life. Here are some to consider when planning your next celebration.
Arthur’s Prime Steakhouse bills itself as the premiere steakhouse of the South. One thing is certain. They do fine dining right. From front of house to back, you will be treated like royalty. You know a place that lets you choose your own cutlery just has to be special.
Ocean’s at Arthur’s is one of the most beautiful places you’ll dine. Having recently gone through a complete renovation at a new location, this Little Rock institution has the most delectable seafood in a serene, yet contemporary space.
Petit & Keet is a special place, indeed. We think the owners may have invented customer service. On any given night, you’ll be greeted by one of them as they make their way to every single table. And the food? Well, that’s hands-down on point.
We love Table 28. Not only does Executive Chef Scott Raines create incredible masterpieces like his famous quail pops, if you reserve the special 28th table, you’ll be treated to a special dinner prepared by him. Proceeds from your bill go directly to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. A class act.
Trio’s has to be one of the most popular places to celebrate those life occasions you want to remember forever. From baby showers to birthday bashes, this local landmark is top notch when it comes to hospitality. If you’re not family when you get there, you will be when you leave. While the menu changes with seasonal fare, some things like the famous Peck Salad remain a staple.
Probably one of the best views in the city is at Brave New Restaurant. Situated on the scenic Arkansas River, the restaurant lets you take in the sights and sounds of nature while enjoying fresh dishes on the deck. We recommend the trout or salmon delivered fresh from the Great Northwest.
Cache certainly has contemporary chic down to an art. Located in the heart of the River Market District, Cache’s fun, energetic atmosphere and incredible entrees will leave you wanting more.
Also in the heart of downtown is Sonny Williams’ Steakroom. Named “Best Steakhouse in Arkansas” by Thrillist.com, it definitely lives up to its reputation. A great steak coupled with a fine wine all set to a grand piano tinkling softly in the background is the perfect way to set the stage for your celebration.
For a presidential experience, make plans to celebrate at 42 Bar and Table inside the Clinton Presidential Center. The cuisine is impeccable, and the views are stellar along the Arkansas River. Whether inside or out on the patio, feast your eyes on the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge’s nightly light show.
One Eleven at the Capital seems to outdo itself daily. This beautiful space inside the historic Capital Hotel is the absolute perfect way to celebrate your special occasion. One of the finest white linen restaurants in town, One Eleven elevates the dining experience like none other.
The only downside to these restaurants is actually having to choose just one. We have it on good authority that you can’t go wrong with any of them. May your celebration be as special as the place you pick.
