Little Rock After Dark
Little Rock plays host to many great annual conventions like the Arkansas Comic-Con, Little Rock Oddities & Curiosities Expo, and the Arkansas RV Show. If you’ve ever attended an event or convention in our city, you already know that there’s plenty to do here after the day’s events are done. If you haven’t been to Little Rock before, here’s just a taste of the city’s great nightlife.
Late Night Jams
A great way to start experiencing Little Rock is to catch some live local music. The city might be called Little Rock, but, trust us, we’re big on music. One of the best places to go for late-night music in Little Rock is the legendary White Water Tavern. With great music and a great menu, White Water Tavern is the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again. The Rev Room is another great venue that features a wide variety of artists in different genres. If you’re looking to get down to some funky old blues and rock and roll on the dance floor Stickyz Rock N Roll Chicken Shack has got you covered.
Cocktail Culture
If a night on the town involves dinner and a few drinks with your friends in tow, there’s no better place than Little Rock. We pride ourselves on our Southern hospitality and would love to have the opportunity to show it off to you.
If you want something completely and totally unique go to Capital Bar & Grill for an original handcrafted cocktail – some of the best in the city. With a focus on using high-quality ingredients and innovative techniques, Petit & Keet's mixologists create delightful concoctions that push the boundaries of traditional flavors. Meanwhile, Rock Town Distillery, a local gem known for being Arkansas' first legal distillery since Prohibition, showcases the city's homegrown spirits with its small-batch, handcrafted approach. Visitors can indulge in an array of artisanal cocktails, highlighting the distinct flavors of Rock Town's premium spirits.
If none of those options catches your fancy you’re sure to find something great in the River Market District – the area’s plentiful bars and pubs will offer a night on the town you'll never forget!
Broaden Your Mind
The arts and sciences are alive and well here in Little Rock! There’s always something happening in this city, and no place is that more clear than at 2nd Friday Art Night. This free-to-attend event celebrates art, culture, and history on the second Friday of each month in downtown Little Rock. Speaking of downtown, you’ll never know what will sprout, fizzle, pop, or glow when you visit Science After Dark at the Museum of Discovery. This monthly adults-only night at the museum features food and a full bar of craft beers, wine, and cocktails. Little Rock is also a great place to catch a theater performance. We have several great live theatre venues to choose from; for example Robinson Center, The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Ron Robinson Theater, Weekend Theatre, and The Studio Theatre, each with its own shows and charm. If you're looking to enjoy peaceful views, Wildwood Park for the Arts offers sprawling landscapes and tranquil walking trails.
As you can see there’s plenty to experience here in Little Rock! So, when you’re scheduling your next business-related visit, make sure to make a little extra time for a night out. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
