Little Rock's Best Live Music Venues
Little Rock is a city that loves to let loose and lets its hair down, especially while listening to live music.
Of course, there are larger venues where headlining acts perform, such as the River Concerts series at the First Security Amphitheater and Robinson Center, home to Broadway shows and rocking concerts, but what about the small, more intimate venues around town? Here are a few of Little Rock’s best.
The entire River Market District could almost qualify as a single live music venue, as it seems like there’s a lively bar or club on practically every corner. Little Rock mainstays like the Rev Room and Stickyz Rock’n’Roll Chicken Shack have been hosting weekly concerts for years. Dugan’s Pub hosts an eclectic lineup of performers for small concerts every Saturday night (Do yourself a favor and order Little Rock’s best mozzarella sticks while you’re there!) Also in the River Market is Willy D’s, where dueling pianos bring the house down every night.
Also in downtown in The Hall, which as quickly become one of the city's premier music venues since opening in 2021. It's the perfect stop to see an ever-changing lineup of national acts.
Nearby, in the South Main (SoMa) neighborhood, South on Main and Midtown Billiards have occasional concerts, while the Aloft hotel in west Little Rock’s Chenal neighborhood hosts free Friday and Saturday evening concerts at its WXYZ bar.
And, of course, any mention of Little Rock’s live music scene would be incomplete without including The White Water Tavern. This 7th Street hangout is one of Arkansas’s most legendary music venues, with frequent stops by national touring acts.
