Grab a Cup from the Best Local Coffee Shops in Little Rock

Little Rock is fueled by the numerous independent coffee shops located around the city. Recent years have seen a surge in high-quality, independent shops opening in almost every neighborhood.

Community Bakery, founded in 1947 on the Arkansas River’s north bank, is a longtime favorite. The bakery moved to downtown Little Rock’s Main Street in 1952 and is now a staple of the South Main (SoMa) neighborhood. It’s a place where neighbors regularly gather, colleagues schedule breakfast and lunch meetings, and patrons pick up pastries for all occasions.

A few blocks away is 2Twenty1, a blended coffee shop and wine bar for locals and visitors alike. In the nearby River Market District is Nexus Coffee and Creative, a spot dedicated to roasted free trade Guatemalan coffee.

The East Village, downtown Little Rock’s newest neighborhood, has become a mecca for Little Rock’s beer drinkers, but local coffee shop Fidel & Co is there when you need a pick-me-up. Their baristas artfully pour lattes in a chic space that makes the most of the neighborhood’s industrial aesthetic.
