Little Rock, a city with a vibrant black culture, is the perfect place to mark this important holiday, and our city has multiple Juneteenth events the weekend of June 15 to choose from.
First, the 15th annual Juneteenth in Da Rock is being hosted by Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and is a free, family-friendly event held on historic West 9th Street. The event is taking place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 15, and starts with the third annual Juneteenth in Da Rock 5K and wraps up with musical performances.

Runners will also pass the home of Mifflin Gibbs, the first elected black judge in the country and among other sites. The 5K starts at 7 a.m. Click here to register.
Also, the Juneteenth Arkansas Festival ‘24 is being held from 4-10 p.m., Saturday, June 15, at First Security Amphitheater in downtown Little Rock. This event will feature vendors and entertainers and is sure to be a great time in a great location along the beautiful Arkansas River.
