Central Arkansas Trail Alliance

The Central Arkansas Trail Alliance (CATA) seeks to provide safe access to wild places through multi-use trails. Its goal is to open up access to remote areas, construct trails and maintain them sustainably throughout the central part of Arkansas.

If you're interested, join them and share your talents to help make this dream come true. Members contribute in a variety of ways, including building trails, raise funds, contribute resources, organize events, sponsor work days and meetings, negotiate with land owners and managers, etc. Join their Facebook Page to learn about upcoming meetings, workdays and fun recreational activities.

CATA follows International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) trail building guidelines and work closely with state and federal land managers, other outdoor recreational clubs in Arkansas and IMBA staff to sustainably build and maintain only quality trails.
