Rock Region METRO Streetcar

Opened Nov. 1, 2004, the METRO Streetcar is a fun, unique way to take in the downtown sights of central Arkansas’ “twin cities.” Operating three historic replica streetcars along a 3.4-mile route, the METRO Streetcar system spans the Arkansas River and links some of the most vibrant destinations in Pulaski County, including the Clinton Presidential Center and headquarters of the global nonprofit Heifer International; North Little Rock’s historic Argenta district; the Little Rock River Market and Creative Corridor; and favorite restaurants, hotels, brewpubs, cultural attractions, shops and more.

How to Ride the METRO Streetcar
METRO Streetcar operates on two routes throughout the Little Rock and North Little Rock downtown areas seven days a week, except for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The easiest way to remember the different routes is to remember blue for water: The Blue Line is the route that operates throughout Little Rock and crosses the Arkansas River (the water) to North Little Rock. The Green Line stays in Little Rock. The Green Line does not operate on Sundays, and service to the popular Clinton Presidential Center stop ends every day around 5:35 p.m.
