57th Annual Frolic
December 8, 2024 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Start your holiday season at our 57th Annual Frolic! It’s become a tradition for many people and families who come year after year to dance old time reels, listen to the fiddle and hammer dulcimer, take part in holiday crafts, shop in the Museum Store, snack on ginger cake and sip on hot cider.
At the Frolic, you’ll be able to make pomander balls with cloves and oranges, mix your own seasonings, learn how to stamp leather, create yarn Christmas trees and Kwanzaa bracelets, dip candles and use a letterpress to print “A Visit from St. Nicholas.” Guests from the Quapaw Nation, Temple B’Nai Israel, UCA Asian Studies and Chinese Association of Arkansas will have activities and crafts for you to enjoy.
Entertainment for the day includes: Lark in the morning, Sugar on the Floor, Ricky Russell on fiddle, Arkansas Country Dance Society, Aeolus Recorder Consort, S. Juain Young & Artists United and Rocky Clements Show of Wonders.
