Arkansas Cinema Society - Filmland
Filmmakers take center stage in Little Rock.
August 15, 16, 17 & 18, 2024
The Arkansas Cinema Society's Filmland is an annual curated celebration of cinema with a mission to nurture and inspire filmmakers in Arkansas by exposing Arkansans to filmmakers and their art. Held annually in August in downtown Little Rock, it highlights diverse films and filmmakers.
The event is packed with celebrities, Arkansas filmmakers, and film lovers from all over the South. The Arkansas Cinema Society is proud of Filmland's unique, star-studded, intimate, quality-over-quantity program. Every screening and event hosts acclaimed filmmakers from around the world for an in-depth conversation about the making of the film or their craft.
The festival also hosts educational workshops for all ages and every aspect of filmmaking. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, there is something to learn for everyone from renowned industry professionals at Filmland.
Films screened at recent editions of the Filmland festival include Boy Erased, Free Solo, Nomadland, One Night in Miami, The Eyes of Tammy Fay, and Toy Story 4.
In 2024, Filmland will be held at the brand new Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. This year's schedule includes workshops, screenings of short films, and panel discussions. For more information on the event, visit Arkansas Cinema Society's website.
