Saturday, December 7, 2024 - 4:00 PM - Celebrate the spirit of the season as joy, wonder, and holiday magic fill the heart of Little Rock.
The BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade 2024 theme is “Floats Along the River.” It is designed to celebrate the city’s vibrant connection to the Arkansas River — a cornerstone of the community and a centerpiece of Little Rock’s downtown.

Big Holiday Celebration in Little Rock
Join us in Little Rock on Saturday, December 7, 2024, for an unforgettable evening filled with festive cheer! Experience the magic of our downtown holiday parade, culminating in the dazzling Christmas tree lighting at the Arkansas State Capitol, where twinkling lights and joyous music create a winter wonderland. Plus, bring the whole family to meet Santa Claus at the Statehouse Convention Center for a truly magical experience!
The parade is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at Broadway and West Markham streets, continuing along West Markham Street to the area of Interstate 30.
In addition to the parade, pre- and post-event activations will take place along the route. Other activities will be in the River Market District.
The Arkansas State Capitol Lighting Ceremony will follow at 5:30 p.m., with the lighting expected to take place around 6:15 p.m. This is the 86th year for the Capitol lighting ceremony, which dates to the late 1930s.
