Barrell Tree Lighting and Holiday Movie Theme Party

Come kick off the Holiday Season with us in our parking lot as we light up our 5 barrel high Bourbon Barrel Tree and play a classic holiday movie Thursday night, November 21st. This now annual tradition (yes, this is the third year we have done this!!) takes on a new twist each year. This year we will be showing the holiday classic movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, so gather up your crew, dress as your favorite National Lampoon’s character and get ready to have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tapdanced with Danny-f—cking-Kaye!

The festivities begin at 5 PM, with the barrel tree lighting happening at 6 PM, or whenever the sun has set, and the start of the first movie immediately after. Entrance and movie viewing is FREE! Here are some of the things you can look forward to:


🍹☕️ Cocktails

At our OUTDOOR BAR we will be serving up Eggnog in Wally World Moose cups that you get to keep, Aunt Bethany Jello shots, as well as boozy Hot Cocoa. Inside at our distillery cocktail bar we will have several special holiday themed cocktails and our full lineup of delicious craft cocktails to choose from. And don’t forget, since this event falls on a Thursday, all martinis are just $6 🍸


📸 Sh*tter’s Full Photo Opp

“That there is an RV Clark!” Like the iconic scene in the movie where Cousin Eddy is emptying his RV’s toilet into the sewer, we will have our own RV in our parking lot! Perfect way to document the night.


🍲 Chili & Brisket Nachos

Titus of Holly Smokes will be selling bowls of hot, delicious chili and smoked brisket nachos. Supplies are limited, so when we run out, we are out!


🔥 fire pits

Several fire pits will line the parking lot, but to claim one of these coveted spots, you won’t want to get here too late!


🍿 Popcorn

No movie viewing is complete without popcorn! Parking lot popped and ready for you to enjoy while taking in all the Griswold fun.


👕 Costume Contest

After the first movie is over, get ready to show off your Griswold costume for our COSTUME CONTEST! The winner will win a $50 Rock Town Gift Card…just in time for holiday shopping!


🎁🐶 Giving Back

Be a holiday hero and bring dog food to be donated to our friends at Southern Hearts Rescue and or cat food to be donated to Community Cats of Central Arkansas. Every item donated is an entry into our Empty Rock Town Bourbon Barrel Raffle, with a chance to take home your very own used bourbon barrel.


The parking lot party goes until 9 PM, and we encourage guests to be 21 and up. Our National Lampoon’s extravaganza is not just about movies and fun; it’s about kicking off the holiday shopping season, creating cherished memories, and sharing the festive spirit with the community.
