In this edition of Sparking Dialogue Through Drama, AMFA presents Breaking the Box: a live performance that combines documentary theatre, video footage, and music to examine race, education, and equality in America.
Through a fantastical time-traveling theatrical experience, Breaking the Box revisits historical events beginning with dramatized stories from Little Rock Central High’s history of integration. Breaking the Box dives into complex themes, offering a unique forum for engaging in conversation through the lens of performing arts.

After the show, the dialogue continues as audiences are invited backstage with AMFA’s Teen Advisory Board to meet the creators and ask questions.
