A Howling Ghoul Time! Little Rock hosts Big boo!seum Bash in person with safe, free, family friendly trick-or-treating, games and more
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 19, 2022) - Ten Little Rock museums and cultural attractions will host treat-or-treaters with free Halloween games, family friendly seasonal thrills and more at six downtown locations in celebration of this year’s Big Boo!seum Bash on Thursday, Oct. 27, 5:30-8:30p.
A downtown Little Rock tradition for 27 years, the Big Boo!seum Bash is designed to be a safe and accessible Halloween alternative for trick-or-treaters and their families. Entry into each participating location is free of charge, and staff will be on-site to provide a spook-tacularly memorable experience. Costumes are welcome.
Participating locations include:
1. Central Arkansas Library at 100 S. Rock St.
o The Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site will also have activities at the library
2. Historic Curran Hall at 615 E. Capitol Ave.
o The MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History will also have activities at Historic Curran Hall
3. Mosaic Templars Cultural Center at 501 W. 9th St.
4. Museum of Discovery at 500 President Clinton Ave.
5. Old State House Museum at 300 W. Markham St.
o The Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office and the Arkansas State Archives will also have activities at the Old State House Museum
6. Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center at 602 President Clinton Ave.
Trick-or-treaters are invited to pick up the free Big Boo!seum Game Card and have it stamped by each of the 10 participating organizations. Completed game cards will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Google Chromebook tablet or a basket of scary-good gifts from the participating locations and organizations.
“The Big Boo!seum Bash is designed to provide Arkansans with free access to Little Rock’s museums and cultural attractions. It’s a great family-oriented event that people of all ages can enjoy,” said Gina Gemberling, president and CEO of the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau. “It’s a ghoulish-good opportunity to trick-or-treat in unique venues and have a fang-tastic time in boo-tiful downtown Little Rock.”
The annual Big Boo!seum Bash is hosted by the Greater Little Rock Museums and Cultural Attractions Consortium, and organized and promoted by the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB).
