Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau Releases Hispanic Heritage Video Series
This is the fourth installment of the “Experience Little Rock in Color” diversity campaign.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 23, 2023) — The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB)
has launched the next installment of its “Experience Little Rock in Color” (ELRIC) interactive
video series, celebrating the city’s Hispanic culture through featured stories from leaders and
influencers across Little Rock’s Hispanic community. The new episodes of the ELRIC series are
available now on LRCVB’s Facebook, YouTube and Instagram pages.
“We are excited to introduce the Hispanic heritage portion of this video series, which illustrates
the unity and strength that diversity brings to our city,” said Kasey Summerville, vice president
marketing, communications and community engagement at LRCVB. “We believe that by
celebrating Little Rock’s rich Hispanic culture, we can showcase some of the unique people,
experiences and attractions that make Little Rock such a dynamic place to visit and live.”
The ELRIC series was developed as a part of LRCVB’s commitment to its Diversity, Equity and
Inclusion (DEI) efforts for the city. This portion of the program captures nine local Hispanic
business and community leaders sharing insight into businesses, restaurants and cultural
attractions that represent the roots of Hispanic heritage in Little Rock.
Featured guests include, Leticia Reta, co-founder of Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli; Flo
Bruzatori-Mullins, owner of Buenos Aires restaurant; Jorge González, communications director
of Business Inclusion at North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce; Patricia Alonso, owner of
Gorditas Paty restaurant; Rosa Ángela Velázquez, lead advocate for Arkansas United; Fidel
Samour, owner of Fidel & Co.; Jose Palma, associate at Arkansas United; Luis Vasquez, owner
of El Sur; and Maximiliano Dominguez, founder and creative director of La Rosa Collective, La
Rosa Antigua, Rose Garden Market and Bread & Roses Creative.
