The Great Outdoors is Just Minutes Away
Wherever you stay in Little Rock, you’re just minutes away from outdoor activities. To the west, Pinnacle Mountain State Park and the Visitor Center at Pinnacle Mountain State Park beckons with paddling, hiking, rock climbing, stargazing and fun outdoor programs lead by the park staff. The Delta starts just east of town, and you can ride your road bike from the Arkansas River Trail eastward to some nice, flat pedaling perfection through cotton and bean fields and past sleepy lakes rimmed by moss-draped cypress trees. Back in town, the Arkansas River Trail takes you over the Big Dam Bridge and connects more than 15 miles of trails. Golf? We got it. A Nature Center? Yep. Maybe a park that has soccer, beach volleyball, a dog park and more? Try Murray Park. And then maybe visit the 50 other city parks we have. Did we mention the canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding? It’s all here and it’s all within easy reach, so get out there and make your own outdoor adventure in Little Rock.
